A daily analysis of the Run-of-Mine (ROM) is carried out at field laboratories. The ores are stockpiled separately, blended, and then fed to the processing plant, so as to obtain the desired quality of ore. The finished fines and calibrated / sized ores produced daily is analyzed and stocked gradewise, and then transported to river loading points either for stocking or direct loading into barges.

The ore is again blended as per contractual specifications. Quality is monitored through meticulous sampling of ore, loaded into every barge before onward transportation to the harbour. Shipment inspection samples are drawn by independent assayers during ship loading. Sub-lot samples for approximately every 4000 tonnes of ore loaded are also then analyzed by our in-house laboratory M/s Cimla Laboratories Pvt. Ltd.. Further corrective action, if necessary, is then taken. When the consignment reaches the port of destination, it is once again checked by independent assayers against their own samples, before transportation to the importing steel mills.
