The
Academy of Culinary Education (ACE) has been set up to cater to a
need of the time -- grooming and training Master chefs for the hospitality and
tourism industry.
The first integrated course of its kind, ACE is a unit of the Foundation for Education,
Work and Environment and is oriented towards nurturing the needs of the professional in
the field of culinary art.
Located at Cidade de Goa, the facilities at the Academy is modern
including latest audio-visual equipment, a well stocked library and of course, the Cidade
de Goa kitchen, where the students receive their hands-on training. The courses are
steered by a highly qualified faculty,eager to impart their culinary expertise to the
young aspirants.
ACE has initiated faculty exchange with the Culinary Institute of America, Swiss Hotel
School and Canberra University of Culinary Education. It has also entered into a
Memorandum of Understanding with the American Hotel and Motel Association Education
Institute, U.S.A., to receive new technology and award certificates to successful
candidates. |
